Dr. Bryan Batson received his undergraduate degree in Petroleum Engineering at Louisiana State University.  He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he also completed his internship and residency in the Internal Medicine-Pediatrics program.  He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and certified by the American Society of Hypertension as a specialist in clinical hypertension.  He serves as faculty for William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine and for the Forrest General Hospital primary care residency program. Dr. Batson was named Hattiesburg Clinic’s Chief Medical Information Officer in 2013. In 2015 he was named the Medical Director of Hattiesburg Clinic’s Quality Management Department and in 2016 added the role of Medical Director of their Accountable Care Organization and Value-based health plans.  He moved in the role of Chief Executive Officer for Hattiesburg Clinic in 2020 and is the first physician to serve in that role in the organization’s 60-year history.
